Abstract
The project has two main topics. The first one is to investigate properties related to discrete sets and the Lindelof property or separability. These properties have similarities with hereditarily Lindelof and hereditarily separable spaces, important topics of research in the area. This work is a continuation of the research work done in September 2017 during the visit of Profs Ofelia Alas and Lucia Junqueira to Prof. Richard Wilson. Several interesting problems are still open and they will be investigated. The other topic involves special types of pseudocompactness. This work is also a continuation of a research done by Prof. Ofelia T. Alas and Prof. Richard G. Wilson in an article submitted recently for publication. (AU)
