Abstract

This exchange project aims to strengthen the collaboration between the University of Sao Paulo and the University of Bath. To achieve this goal it proposes to realize different activities, such as a seminar, a workshop, a preliminary study on social innovation in the Brazilian Unified Social Assistance System (USAS) and the publication of one paper written in co-authorship. This preliminary study focus on supporting the scaling-up of creative and innovative activities into practice and it is intimately related to, and builds upon, the research "The Sistema Único de Assistência Social [Unified Social Assistance System]- SUAS: reflections on the concept of 'psychosocial' in especial protection services" (Project n. 2017/13907-5).
