Abstract

Nowdays, the number and diversity of procedures performed by laparoscopic techniques have been increasing in number and diversity. Along with the improvement of surgical techniques and materials for videolaparoscopy and robotics, raises the need of knowing the implications and adversities associated with them is growing. In the present study we are interested in the effects of pneumoperitoneum on renal hemodynamics and perfusion, measured by the determination of new markers of acute renal injury (Neutrophil Gelatinase-associated Lipocalin - NGAL).
