Abstract

A study of the formation of sheared fluxes by turbulent fields and of its relevance to the formation of transport barriers in tokamak confined plasmas will be carried out. Particular emphasis will be on process associated to the formation of transport barriers triggered by electrostatic edge polarization and by Alfvén waves.
