Abstract

The presented work however has as proposal the reading, under putting of comparatista sight, two great writers in Portuguese language, nominated João Guimarães Rosa and Jose Luandino Vieira. The selected narratives as corpus of the research, are, respectively, stories with marked presence of infantile personages gifts in `Primeiras Estórias', published for the first time in 1962, and "No antigamente na vida: estórias", of 1974.The texts present, at a first moment, thematic and stylists confluences that allow a sufficiently productive boarding in the direction to approach the work of these writers. However, in we will locate them in one another footpath, that is, searching to perceive as the colonial experience, and one consequent resistance to its presence, they will be lived deeply in sufficiently singular way in one and another writer.E in the attempt to distinguish the production of Rosa and Luandino is that we will focus this reading in the perspective of the violence, that is, of as this submerges in the African context, the gallery of personages that, as in Ana says to them Paula Tavares: "slides and grows in silence, masters in the art to practise the good and to exert the evil" and on the other hand, or stops in pointing out them in the universe of the writers, in the other edge is the children of Rose, immersed in a harmonic picture, where the "exercise of badly" does not reach the power gift in musseques of Luandino.
