Abstract

The parasitoid Diaeretiella rapae (McIntosh, 1855) is an important natural enemy of aphids in brassica crops. Some studies have indicated that parasitoid showed potential as biological control agent those pests. The present study aim to determine: a) The fertility life table of D. rapae in different temperatures; b) The thermal requirements of the parasitoid; c) The effect of low temperature storage on D. rapae and d) The host quality of Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus, 1758) and Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach, 1843) to D. rapae.
