Abstract

The principal issue the project VSA (Voice Signal Analyzer) treats is the characterization and analysis of the voice production mechanism based on new parameters that form a novel mathematical model to describe the mentioned system. In this context, and in a first moment, the new extracted data will be used to uniquely identify a speaker. Following, the intention is to characterize disfunctions in the voice production system, and, lastly, to study how a factor responsible for the disfunction can affect a system for speech-based biometric identification.
