Abstract

The current environmental concern and the knowledge about the processes that govern the water and solute dynamic, showed that the researches are necessary to increases the efficiency of some products in the agricultural sector and to reduce the impact of some activities in the groundwater. The present work has as objective the application of the model HYDRUS-1D to simulate soil moisture and solute profile (nitrate and potassium) in different soil types and to proceed a sensitivity analysis of the model, to verify which input parameter of the model, is more sensitive to variations, looking for reduce the simulation mistakes for the soil moisture and the solute in soil profile.
