Abstract

In the research presented now, it will be looked to apprehend the capital concept, in some of its unfolding, as developed in the Marxian’s works of criticism of the political economy, especially in Grundrisse, in the Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy, in the Theories of Surplus Value and in The Capital. In this effort, it will be given great importance to the concept of fetishism, which tracks the development of the concept of capital, which corresponds to the process of subjectivation of this social form. Through these studies, and the study of important Marxist authors, it is intended to shed light on theoretical issues that are imposed by the contemporary development of the capital, as the prominence of financial valorization, the role of the primitive accumulation after the consolidation of capitalism, the role of science in the production and its impact on the process of accumulation, among others, present in many contemporary debates.
