Abstract

Oceanic sediments, composed mostly of microfossils shells, are the main proxies in order to understand environmental changes related to climate, ocean circulation and biological productivity. Microfaunal and geochemical analyses will be applied in a corer collected in the inner shelf nearby Itajaí, SC, in order to comprehend productivity changes over the last 7600 years cal. B.P.. (AU)
