Abstract The application of the non-relativistic quantum theory to classically chaotic systems displays new phenomena, such as a completely different statistical distribution of the auto energies from the classical non-chaotic systems. Such results are confirmed both by theory and experiments. Using relativistic quantum mechanics, however, much less attention has been put forward. One of the exceptions is a work by Berry & Mondragon, about a billiard were one massless spin-1/2 particle is confined. Recently, this work was utilized in order to explain the results from a quantum dot of graphene. | |
