Abstract

The research concerns a study of the animated documentary as far as this kind of audiovisual narrative leads the viewer to a non-fiction lecture of the animation film, based on what Roger Odin defined as "a documentarizing lecture". This research will make a categorization of the animated documentary and a study of selected cases, considering the studies of Odin and other theorists of the cinema, in particular those studies that attempt to define the specifics of the documentary film.
