Abstract

This research is about the First Command of Capital (PCC), collectivity originated in São Paulo's prisons that overflowed their walls to cover the urban areas of the State. From fieldwork among its participants, I intend to describe the dynamics of functioning of the PCC on the streets, where the conditions of existence are different from those present in the prison environment. My goal is to continue the Master research, when I approached the PCC from research in prisons. Also, I intend to deep the knowledge about their political dynamics and examine the continuities and discontinuities between jails and extra-prison spaces. (AU)
