Abstract

The aim of the present study is search for the presence of Leishmania sp., imunoglobulins, TCD4+, CD8+, CD21+, CD25+ and CD79+ cells and macrophages in central nervous system tissue from naturally infected dogs. For this purpose, the study will be carried out with a group of 20 naturally infected dogs without neurological symptoms, and with another group composed from all dogs directed to the Veterinary Hospital , infected, with neurological symptoms, during the period of December 2009 untill july 2010.
