Abstract

Proteomic analysis of pathogenic bacteria, has provided numerous resources to understanding of the mechanisms by which these pathogens develop pathological processes in human. Analysis of the capacity of adhesion of sepsis-associated Escherichia coli (SEPEC) in cells of Hec-1B (endometrial adenocarcinoma human) and Vero (kidney of African green monkey), show that all strains (100%) are able to adhere and invade these cells, as well as to form biofilm in inert material. However, molecular studies of these strains indicate that SEPEC some associations between adhesins in prevalence significant, but not was possible to determine the factors involved in SEPEC adherenc. Intend, with the continuity of this work, conduct a comparative analysis of proteins expressed in terms of plancktonic cells, attached on cell surfaces and provided biofilm, so that makes it possible to identify proteins responsible the adherence of SEPEC and thus clarify its mechanisms pathogenicity.
