Abstract

Aiming to increase pregnancy rates improving the corpusl luteum functionality, leading to an increase in plasmatic progesterone concentration in cyclic mares and recipient mares, some groups have focused research on the use of drugs, such as anti-prostaglandins, progesterone, hCG and GnRH analogs such as buserelin. This experiment aims to evaluate the effects of hCG application in 3 different times during the estrous cycle (pre ovulation, on the day of ovulation and five days post ovulation) on uterine and ovarian blood flow, uterine and cervical tone and utrine and corpus luteum morphoechogenicity and progesterone plasmatic concentration. Data will be submitted to variance analysis (PROC GLM), using SAS program (1999(. Hypothesis tested will be considered significant when P < 0.05.
