Abstract The loss of areas with table grapes due to high costs of the vineyards, coupled with the requirement of cultural practices, plant protection, high costs of labor and reduction of productivity in the last harvest in 2010, are relevant to the search for more profitable alternatives for the region. For this purpose, this research has the objective to verify and analyze the sustainability of production of table grapes in the EDR (Office of Rural Development) of Jales, located in the northwest region of São Paulo. This research has as a partner Embrapa Grape and Wine Unit Jales. Data will be gathered from interviews, questionnaires development and the monitoring of a production cycle of the crop. Will be interviewed 30 producers of table grapes from regional Jales and about 20% of this total is accompanied during a production cycle. For producers followed for a year costs will be estimated and analyzed in terms of investments. To determine the feasibility of a production system is of great relevance to socioeconomic evaluation of the producers, seeking the technical and economic feasibility of culture of the grape with the sustainability of natural resources. | |
