Abstract

This project investigates, throughout an immanent reading of Nietzsche's philosophy, the ambiguous relationship between perspectivism and relativism in the thinking of the author. For this, we examine first the relationship between effectiveness, will to power, perspective and interpretation. From this point and as a second stage, we investigate how the relationship of these notions preclude the attribution of relativism to Nietzsche, as the author, from his perspective, establishes a criterion (the increase or reduction in power) to assess and rank the other interpretations. However, in our view, as we are going to explore in the third part, it is the concept of effectiveness as perspective and interpretative that precludes, following assumptions of Nietzsche's own thinking, any claim to universal validity to the criterion established by him. Thus, it is about investigating whether the establishment of this criterion is sufficient or not to completely reject the relativism. (AU)
