Abstract

The singing teacher searching for strategies that may trigger adjustments to the vocal tract (translated into muscular adjustments of long-term) actions which involve the respiratory muscles of that region's vocal (laryngeal or glottal adjustments) of the supraglottic region (articulatory adjustments or supralaryngeal and voltage). To describe the physiological correlates supraglottic vocal tract (using videofluoroscopic images) and the perceptual voice quality settings for opera singers in response to instructions from a singing teacher. Such responses are reflected in activities involving the instructions in singing lessons in order to achieve sound qualities due to mobilization of different segments of the vocal tract. We'll look at the recordings of audio samples and videofluoroscopic images of the vocal tract during the singing of twenty singers aged between 22 and 45 years, no change of voice quality. The composition of body parts involves the emission of vowels [a], [i] [u] and a piece of music on the qualities required by a singing teacher. The recordings will be analyzed in terms of auditory perception (Voice Profile Analysis Scheme for the Brazilian-Portuguese VPAS-PB) and visual (analysis frame by frame of the videofluoroscopic images). The findings will be analyzed statistically. (AU)
