Abstract

Virtual environments for training simulations introduce a safe environment to investigate the behavior and human response to dangerous situations what reduces real risks of lives and assets losses. Building these simulations is a great challenge. A novel architecture to support the building, running, management and control of such simulations added to interoperability, integrability and composibility features is being developed at the WINDIS Lab in the Computer SCience Department (as part of the INCT-SEC project) by both a PhD student and an MSc student. Under this context, this undergraduate project consists of the research of game engines for mobile devices (Google Adroid) and its integration to the architecture being developed for 3D visualization and interaction.
