Abstract

Reading of texts, conversations and participation in academic activities developed at Université de Genève and Archives Jean Piaget. The postdoctoral stage will allow discussions with members of the archives and Université de Genève, access to unpublished works of Piaget and discussions with specialists on Epistemology, Psychology and Pedagogy in the texts of Piaget. To investigate in the archives texts addressing the physical time, concerning the composition necessary to explain the external world or the material reality, and the psychological time, which concerns the time lived, i.e. the human experiences on the passage of time. The following question may be posed: How do they articulate with each other? Both in the physical and psychological time, the duration depends on the speeds and on the work performed. The elementary temporal impressions are not originated from the interior feeling, but from the results of actions. To conduct investigations on the distinction between psychological and physical time in the work of Piaget under the light of several debates of Piaget on Philosophy (Kant, Bergson and Merleau-Ponty), with the History of Science (Aristotle, Newton and Einstein) and its implications for the Education (defense of an active and democratic school). We intend to perform these investigations in the greatest center of studies and access to materials on the work of Piaget. (AU)
