Abstract

Contemporary art, coupled with the process of urban interventions makes street art form of expression and visibility, revealing critical and important questions about the present time. It is to purpose understand it as art mediates between subject-town politics and art, that this process will be conducted through a Marxist analysis of artistic praxis, seeking the specifics of this counterculture movement as indicative for the transformation of contemporary problems in São Paulo city.
