Abstract

This thesis aims to search for, examine and present the new expressions of visual art created from the convergence of cinema, video, theater and the Internet languages. These creative expressions are communicating through media technologies, for example, Web sites themselves, or sharing and distribution sites like YouTube, or simply using the internet bandwidth to accomplish this creative hybridization from one country to another, or one corner to another. To give you an idea of these multimediatic manifestations of visual art, will be researched work of independent artists, artists working with film language and finally independent artists who use theatre language. For example, Renata Pinheiro and her short film SuperBarroco, Cia PHILA 7 with its projects that add multiple languages and Cia. Teatro For anyone that produces content on its own website using the language of film, video and theater for a selected audience. All works or projects of these artists will be cataloged and examined, investigated through the experiences of their creators, or the work itself, and also on the audience optics. Although theatre companies are used, this dissertation will fix on the works and projects undertaken with the intention to disclose a new language through the convergence of visual arts. (AU)
