Abstract

This project aims at constructing a tool to support the decision making process based on the concept of antecipative intelligence.Antecipative intelligence is based on the making decision process through the extraction, storing and analysis of information which antecipate events so organizations can act in an antecipative way. One form of such informations is the weak sign information. A weak sign may assume different levels of clarity. This information, initially, can be: vague, uncertain and, from the addition of new information becomes more clear and useful. This characterist of this kind of information adds antecipative form to the own information being extracted. The presented tool aims at: including weak signs; clustering weak signs according to some pattern recognition algorithm and presenting the formed groups of weak signs to managers. By analysing the groups formed, users are able to formulate hypothesis in order to make decisions in the organization.
