Abstract

This research project, which seeks to approximate the Luso-Brazilian productions, aims to develop an in deep theoretical and methodological analysis and discussion of the studies concerning everyday life at work, taking social psychology as an starting point. The research will be based on interdisciplinary dialogue with ergology, anthropology, and sociology, seeking to locate social psychology's production on human labor in the wider debate of the social studies on everyday life. Specifically, it intends to systematize the mutual contributions among these scientific fields, their closeness and distance in the labeling and in the appropriation of their object. The aim is also to build bridges between the social psychology of work and the theorizing about everyday life that relates it to society as a whole, culture, and history. (AU)
