Abstract

This research's objective is to investigate the phenomenon of fanfiction or fanfic, developing the analysis of five fanfics written in Brazil and linking them to their production context and national and foreign previous studies on the subject. Fanfiction's composition procedure is to base itself on a cultural product in order to create a text, mostly fictional. The aspect to be studied in the project will be the transposition of the character from its original context to the fanfiction's character, through comparative analysis of both fanfiction and original fiction, in order to investigate the circumstances of this production. The research intends to study the characteristics and process of fanfictions' composition and relate them to literary creation's theory.(AU)
