Abstract

This project fits in the field of local studies of the Brazilian Integralist Action(AIB), movement/party that legally existed in Brazil between 1932 and 1937. The finality is to understand how this mass movement developed in Araraquara - SP between 1934 and 1936. We adopted as material the local and Integralist press. Discussions of the Micro-history and the Local and Regional History make up our theoretical and methodological referential. Given the near absence of work on the AIB in the city of Araraquara-SP, this project will contribute to contemporary Brazilian historiography on such movement at the municipal level.
