Abstract

The quality management practices had great diffusion after the organizations found that these practices could increase competitiveness. So, the expected is that quality management help in the search for satisfaction of the clients, in the same time, deteriorates costs of non-quality. When implementing these practices, observes some organizations that got great results, or, get through quality management improved competitiveness and productivity, which increase the probability of survival and their superiority of them. However, there are many organizations that don't get the expected objective. In this scenario, it´s convenient a search that watches the situation of implementation of quality management. Like research strategy, are executed a literature review, and case studies for analyzing quality management practices. Posteriorly, the analysis of case studies will contribute to survey research that will objective, diagnose the situation in Brazil related to the use of these practices, and also collect possible causes of success and failure. Then, the objective of this project is to make a diagnosis of the quality management some Brazilian companies practices and with this establish academic and practical results.(AU)
