Abstract

The research groups are important actors to support the role of universities and research centers to work in various complex situations that they are exposed to, either in joints of teaching, research or extension. This study aims to analyze and verify the applicability of a conceptual framework useful to the creation, management, and consolidation of research groups with a systemic orientation. Therefore, it will consist of two case studies from research groups for evaluating systemic assumptions already used by the groups and others that could be applied. The systemic assumptions will be acquired through literature review and documentary analysis. This paper aims to provide a framework for the creation and operation of research groups in Brazil so they can be created and managed based on the systemic approach.(AU)
