Abstract

This is the translation into Portuguese of a selection of tales by Argentine writer Maria Rosa Lojo. We selected five stories in the book of unusual Loves nuestra historia, published in 2001. The work will consist of an introductory essay that intends to present María Rosa Lojo and his work to the Brazilian reader, followed by the annotated translation of selected tales. With this, we intend to exercise the ability to read and analyze literary texts by applying basic concepts of literary theory acquired throughout the course of Arts and at the same time, start the translation practice from Spanish to Portuguese, a field always open to those dedicated to studying a foreign language and culture.(AU)
