Abstract

The goal of this study is to evaluate, in vivo, the biological response of calcium hydroxide pastes {Ca(OH)2} with different vehicles prepared from plant extracts of Araça (Psidium cattleianum). For the staging of the pastes will be added to calcium hydroxide, aqueous, ethanolic solution, and ethanolic resuspended in propylene glycol prepared with vegetable extract of Araçá and as control group will be used Ca(OH)2 associated with propylene glycol. For microscopic analysis, polyethylene tubes containing experimental pastes will be deployed in the dorsal region of 20 male rats. The analysis period will be after seven and 30 days and the pieces processed for interpretation.(AU)
