Abstract

In the last decades, the petroleum offshore exploration have notably advances. As the result of this process, the amount of well drilling operational data has been intensily increased. The development os sensors and data processing sistems afforded to measure and to record a lot of information involved, which comprise from rig operational parameters until characteristics of the drilled geological formation. If there is nowadays information in abundance, other hand, there is a lack of tools able to use efficiently all data and information available. Despite of the technological improvements, the Drilling Engineering has advanced in a discrete way on data analisys techniques. This project proposes the development of a well drilling data analysis and viewer tool, in order to provide information and interpretations useful to accomplish enhancements in the drilling processes of new oil wells.
