Abstract

The current warming of the construction industry today made a number of companies seek to improve their construction processes and also suit themselves to the one with the highest cost/benefit. Thus, the introduction of the use of precast concrete on the national stage has made large and medium-sized works to gain a reduction in the time scale constructive and, so, brought the rise of industrialization in construction. Since the early 1990s, it has been notable the efforts in the Brazilian civil construction sector in search of better performance in terms of quality and productivity. However, even with the monitoring of regulatory bodies to create standards for security management seeking to keep up with the ever-changing construction industry, the use of precast technology still lacks general guidelines for its implementation with the proper security. Therefore, this study aims to assess the issue of job security in prefabricated systems and study the relationship between the health and safety aspects of the environment, based on legislation NR-18 and the new NR in discussion on Working at Height. In addition, another important focus to be considered in the analysis of the safety and health of the environment with a focus on the concept of Resilience Engineering. For this purpose, techniques for indirect documentation (document analysis) and indirect observations intensive (interview and photographic records) based on the elaboration of a questionnaire aimed at obtaining qualitative and quantitative data about a building in the city of São Carlos that uses pre-fabricated in his works will be used.(AU)
