Abstract

This undergraduate research aims to define, characterize and analyze the area of agricultural potential in the county (of Ponta Grossa located in the State of Paraná. This area will receive an agroclimatic zoning for the potato cultivation based on the interpretation of air temperature, humidity and climatic water balance calculation proposed by Thorn Thwaite e Mather (1955). The collection of the climatic data is the first part of the project followed then by the development of a guide to calculate the normal and cultivation sequential climatologic water balances as well. Having done that, the results obtained will determine the surpluses and deficiencies of the study area. Graphs) and will be made with the objective of spatializing the climate conditions and the water capacity of the potato cultivation. Which requires care, from its cultivation until its harvest?
