Abstract

Research Project of the work of writer Carolina Maria de Jesus, contrasting in particular the books Quarto de Despejo, Diário de Bitita and Pedaços da Fome to show that this may have been the Brazilian writer first to internalize the historical experience of poverty and social exclusion by diction of the field of literary work and not just with the introduction of the theme of the slum and marginal urban survival, producing an aesthetic of its own that was often reduced tomere document of sociological interest. The author has built up a poetic hybrid questions about the boundaries between "real" in fiction and autobiographical writing because it is located in-between place between the genders. (AU)
