Abstract

The research proposal is to approach the exchange of policy experiences between Viceroyalty of Peru and Brazil throughout its processes of independence, from the integration of these two spaces in the world revolutionary conjuncture, between the years 1808 and 1821. The Viceroyalty of Peru and Brazil are considered in terms of their mutual determinations, investigating how the events of Portuguese America were known and experienced in neighbor Peru. Thus, the research seeks to understand how sharing these experiences influenced the perceptions of the crisis of the Old Regime in America, the projects and the reactions to it. (AU)
