Abstract

ABSTRACT: Nowadays is well disseminated in the scientific literature the physical exercise importance for health. Many studies have been reported the exercise importance for various factors related to health. However there is a dearth of research that evaluated the influence of physical activity interventions in basic health units on health related outcomes. Thus the main of the research project is to compare two physical activity intervention and their influence on participants' health.To do this, will be selected 40 females above 30 years old with no medical restrictions for the practice of physical exercise. Participants will be split up into two groups: (1) the intervention will occur two times per week lasting 60 minutes and with guidance on healthy habits, (2) the intervention will occur 3 times per week lasting 90 minutes each session and no health guidance, however reaching the recommendation of physical activity required. Further, will be assessed anthropometric, biochemical, functional capacity, quality of life, level of physical activity and adherence before and after physical exercise program. The data will be analyzed using ANOVA for repeated measures with a significance of p <0.05. (AU)
