Abstract

There are few studies on Aristophanes and translations of his works in Brazil. His style is very difficult to translate, its main characteristics being humor, obscene language, puns, references to contemporary events and high poetic ability. A play that has not been translated taking into account these elements is Frogs. This project intends to translate it by studying these aspects.
