Abstract

This proposal aims at studying the interaction of femtosecond lasers with thin film conjugated polymers using Fourier transform confocal microscopy. Initially, an optical setup will be designed to perform a systematic study of such interaction. Various parameters from the film as well as the laser, will be studied systematically. The same films will be subsequently analysed by fluorescence and Raman confocal microscopy. Quantitative microscopy analysis will be performed by way of two-dimensional Fourier transform. (AU)
