Abstract

This research project intents to study the music movement that occurred in São Paulo between the late 1970 and early 1980, with has been recognized as Vanguarda Paulista. By analyzing the musician's Passoca and the band Premeditando o Breque, careers who had composed such movement, we intend to understand the distinct musicians connected to the Vanguarda Paulista trajectories and the reasons with had taken songs of these musicians - as Premeditando o Breque - to achieve certain prestige beside a specific audience, others Brazilian's musicians and the specialized criticism. While some other names connected to the movement almost unnoticed by musical criticism and by historiography.(AU)
