Abstract In this project, we present how data mining techniques can be used to study the relationship between network topologies and complex dynamic processes. This study will be conducted with the simulation of phenomena of synchronization, cascading failures and the spread of epidemics. The structure of the networks will be characterized by methods of data mining, which will classify networks according to a set of models and determine patterns of connections present in the organization of different types of complex systems. These studies will be performed with applications in neuroscience, systems biology, sociology and food webs. | |
