Abstract

This project deals with the physics of mechanical microresonators by emphasizing the basic aspects of the problem such as the formulation and solution of classical equations of motion as well as modern aspects like quantization and the associated quantum states. Aiming at the development of computational abilities, simulations of the dynamics of a dissipative nonlinear mechanical microresonator will be realized. (AU)
