Abstract

The "Cerrado" is the second largest Brazilian's biome, and is compound by distinct vegetation formations, being them marked by different environmental factors. Plant leaves are the organs presenting more structural variations that are interpreted as adaptations to specific environments. In this context, the project aims to study the leaf anatomical features of woody species, which are representative of the vegetation of Cerrado stricto sensu, relating them to the factors found in this environment.(AU)
