Abstract

Cryptosporidiosis has a worldwide distribution and can affect animals and humans, especially young and immunosuppressed. This research project aims to evaluate the occurrence of infection in puppies of dogs. To verify the removal of oocysts, the feces will be examined by Kinyoun modified technique. Subsequently, all samples will be subjected to ELISA test for detection Cryptosporidium spp. Statistical analysis will consist of the chi-square test to verify the association of that enteroparasite regarding gender, race, and age of animals examined.(AU)
