Abstract The project here proposed deals with the development of electrothermal atomization systems using a tungsten coil. This system will be applied for Cu, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb and V determination in waters and plant materials. Heating programs will be established for each device by controlling the applied current and the main concomitants will be removed by volatilization. The use of both devices as vaporizer and atomizer systems will generate low cost instruments when compared to the ones using either graphite furnaces or argon plasmas. The simultaneous determination of metals will be studied by atomic fluorescence spectrometry using a multichannel array detector system based on a charge-coupled device (CCD) (AU) | |
