Abstract

The psychological-philosophical work of Maurice Merleau-Ponty emphasized the notions of perception and constitution of being-in-the-world as fundamental elements in the discursive production of statements of perception, the lived experience and the phenomenal field. This research has emphasized, of his works: "Phenomenology of Perception" and "The Structure of Behavior," aspects of the body and present them to the perception, in order to investigate the discourses of the lived about anomalous phenomena, especially phenomena of out of body experiences, aimed at understanding the experience sui generis reported and its consequences and meanings from their living. From these analyzes, we seek to investigate the hypothetical differences between the world perceived by individuals with extrasensory perceptions of such order and individuals which not have, divided into two groups of twenty respondents who claim experience out of body experiences and those who claim never have experienced. In relation to degrees of belief and dissociation of the subjects, in an attempt to cover the largest behavioral difference of these two ways of positioning themselves in the world, we seek to understand which behaviors help in the presence of such perceptions and experience, through anomalistic psychology and phenomenology, investigating their articulations statements with the extra-sensory-motor phenomena.
