Abstract This project aims to study the process of conceptual formation ahead of Organic Chemistry students in higher education. Based on the principles of Vergnaud´s Theory of Conceptual Fields intended to identify the operational invariants needed by these students and study how these cognitive elements relate to each other during the transposition process conceptually similar situations before. Thus students enrolled in the course of Green Chemistry Practices offered by UFABC will be investigated with a view to solving problems involving chemical content of low cognitive skills (LOCS) and high order (HOCS) within the meaning of Zoller´s Works. Data will be recorded on audio and video features oral and gestural transcribed and coded with the help of software Transana. (AU) | |
