Abstract

Samples of a roll cast AA1050 alloy will be asymmetrically rolled using a modified roll mill, where the upper and lower roll has a diameter rate of 1,4. The same material will be extruded by an equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) matrix with an internal angle of 120o and inner dimensions of 7 x 40 mm. The deformation heterogeneity will be evaluated by micro hardness measurements. After recrystallization heat treatments the Lankford parameter will be measured by tension tests.(AU)
