Abstract

Evaluation of marginal adaptation of ceramic lithium disilicate processed for technical CAD / CAM and conventional injection. The processing technique of dental ceramics is directly related to the final characteristics of these materials. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the marginal adaptation of a ceramic based on lithium disilicate processed by different techniques: technical CAD / CAM and conventional technique. 10 models will be made from a metal die, on which the scanning is performed to obtain the virtual model for the processing of ceramic lithium disilicate for technical CAD / CAM and later the same models are used to perform the technique conventional injection. To carry out the molding will be used with a liner to standardize the insertion of the preparation. They are then obtained plaster models, which will be held scanning, design and software infrastructure in order to obtain the ceramic milling CAM / CAM (10 samples), and the production of copings for conventional injection, using the technique of lost wax (10 samples). The analysis of the marginal gap will be 12 points the edge of the metal die, and the values are subjected to arithmetic mean obtaining a single average value for each crown. To analyze these results depart from the hypothesis of equality. A statistically significant difference in initial hypotheses will be tested for equality using the model analysis of variance. The level of significance is the conventional value of 5%. (AU)
