Abstract String instruments with resonance boxes, such as the guitar, have complex variables with respect to the acoustic behavior. In addition to subjective aspects that influence incisively in the qualification of a guitar as good, "soft", reverberant, or simply pleasing to the ear, constructive characteristics of geometry and material also comprises a set of important parameters to be understood to propose further improvements in performance. In this sense, it is intended through this project to analyze numerically how the guitar responds to the environment in which it is situated and which is equipped with: air (fluid) and his own material (wood). This paper aims, therefore, the computer implementation and verification with data reported in the literature of the vibroacoustic behavior of the resonance box of a classical guitar using analytical and numerical methods (finite element). | |
